Hi All,

I just wanted to announce that I intend to run for the position of Vice-President again this coming year. It was a great privilege to serve the community this past year during these challenging times and I'm happy to help the club through our next transition back to something resembling normal and our transition to a new structure being worked on by the structure/governance committee.

For those who don't know me well, I am a full time real estate investor. I also invest in tech startups as technology is another passion of mine. I believe in understanding the fundamentals before I invest in something and that is why you will often see me talk about the data behind my assumptions or opinions. I love helping other investors, including newbies, get started on the right path. I believe that real estate investing is an essential wealth building tool in people's financial plans and it is important to help people get on an efficient path. This is why I chose to run last year.

All that said, OREIO is a volunteer organization and I encourage anyone who wants to make a difference to put their hat in the ring for this position or any other that interests you. If you have the passion to help others and the time to make it happen then I have no doubt you will make a positive contribution. Based on the propositions put forward so far by the structure committee, next year's elections should be even easier to decide for you but don't wait for that.
